MCC is proud to present this exclusive online training program:
CLEAN GREEN Pre-Certification Training
The CLEAN GREEN CERTIFICATION Program is a non-conflicted third party Certification based on National Organic Program guidelines, used for the USDA “Organic” Certification Program, and other international guidelines for sustainable farming.
The Certification Program was developed by Chris Van Hook, a USDA “Organic” Certifier and attorney, in response to the USDA’s decision that medical cannabis was not eligible for the USDA Organic Certification Program.
CLEAN GREEN Certification includes the Certification of the crop production process and a separate Certification for the facility that is processing, handling, packing and labeling medicinal cannabis as Clean Green Certified.
Inspectors and certifiers for the CLEAN GREEN Certification Program include USDA inspectors and certifiers who work year round, throughout the State, inspecting agricultural production, process and handling.
Who is eligible for Clean Green Certification?
A Collective or Cooperative that is operating under California’s Medical Marijuana Program Act and registered with the Secretary of State as a nonprofit organization, may apply for Clean Green Certification of the Collective or Cooperative’s medicinal garden(s).
Collective or Cooperative operators, under California’s MMP, who want to have their Processing and Handling facility Certified in order to handle, package and label cannabis, from Clean Green Certified cultivators.
Individual Cultivating Members of a Cooperative or Collective, under California’s MMP, who are responsible for cultivating medicinal cannabis for Collective members who are unable to cultivate their own cannabis.
