STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES APPROVES MCC TRAINING PROGRAM TO TEACH COURSE ON THE STATE’S MEDICAL MARIJUANA PROGRAM

In July 2011, the State of California Department of Social Services (DSS) approved the MCC Training Program as a Continuing Education Vendor to teach “California’s Medical Marijuana Program (MMP) and How It Relates to Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Access”.

This groundbreaking class is DSS approved for 4 credits toward the Continuing Education requirement for ARF Licensing Renewal.

Liz McDuffie, Director of the MCC Training Program and Instructor for the DSS Class, believes that “this class will facilitate efforts to educate health care facility Licensees regarding the MMP and how the Licensee can make an informed and Title 22 compliant accommodation of a Client’s request to participate’.
